On August 3rd, the JCC Executive Directors led by JCC President, Mr. KONDO Hiroyasu from Marubeni Thailand Co., Ltd. together with Mr. ABE Ichiro, JCC Chairman of the Economic Research Group from JETRO Bangkok paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, the Minister of Industry.


During the meeting, the JCC delegation presented the results of the Business Survey of Japanese Companies in Thailand for the 1st Half of 2026. They also exchanged views on the current business environment, challenges facing Japanese companies operating in Thailand and policy measures to support Japanese investment and business activities.


The JCC delegation further presented policy recommendations aimed at addressing key challenges and strengthening the competitiveness of Japanese companies in Thailand.
